The Five Sacred Shrines of Maharashtra
The pilgrimage circuit covers Grishneshwar (near Ellora), Trimbakeshwar (near Nashik), Bhimashankar (near Pune), Parli Vaijnath (Beed district), and Aundha Nagnath (Hingoli district).
Each temple holds immense spiritual value, and visiting all five represents a deeply fulfilling spiritual milestone for devotees.
Geographical Centrality of Aurangabad
Aurangabad is located geographically central to all five shrines. Starting the tour from here reduces travel time significantly compared to starting from Mumbai or other outskirts.
You can cover Grishneshwar on Day 1, move toward Parli and Aundha on Days 2 & 3, and complete the circuit at Trimbakeshwar and Bhimashankar on Days 4 & 5.
Itinerary and Route Pacing
A 4 to 5 days itinerary is recommended for families and elderly pilgrims. Rushing the circuit in 3 days is possible but involves long, tiring highway hours.
Our custom itineraries include hotel stays near temples and structured rest breaks for a comfortable yatra.
